BECTest, a wholly owned subsidiary of BEC, was launched in 2021 with a mission to provide testing services to all industries for a variety of needs. BECTest is BEC's central division for testing services including electrical equipment, appliance/fixture testing (to support subrogation needs), roof top HVAC unit testing, parking lighting and facility moisture related issues. BECTest's laboratory at BEC headquarters can receive equipment and store items through a chain of custody program.

BEC has invested in advanced non-destructive equipment useful for accurate analysis of building envelope deficiencies including but not limited to Nuclear Moisture Density Gauges, Infra-Red Cameras, Chimney Inspection Cameras, Blower Doors, small Unmanned Aerial Systems, Spray Racks, Electronic Leak Detection devices and advanced Hygrothermal Modeling software (WUFI).
